Lamb’s Bread potency: THC and CBD from 117 lab tests

How published THC figures compare

Strain databases publish a single figure or a range: Leafly lists 18%, AllBud 16–21% and Weedmaps 10–15%; Wikileaf gives an average of 14% and a “highest test” of 30%.^2,3,4,5 Seed sellers range from “14% +” (Yardie Seeds) and 18% (Zamnesia; Crop King’s autoflower) to 19–25% (Crop King’s feminized line), and Lamb’s Breath Seeds reports 29.11% total THC for the selected mother plant of its Irie Select and 30.6% in its 2024 grow report.^{6,7,8,9,10,11}

Our results sit above most of those claims and below the breeder’s: 90% of Lamb’s Bread flower tested below 26.89%, the highest result was 28.69%, and nine in ten tests came in above the top of Weedmaps’ range.¹ The two states pull in different directions: Maryland’s 91 tests have a median of 23.82%, Washington’s 26 a median of 17.42%. By year, the median went from 17.38% in 2018 (7 tests) to 24.01% in 2023 (76), but the state mix changed with it, and one lab stands behind 76.1% of all tests, so lab, year and genetics cannot be separated.¹

Limits of this data

• Coverage is narrow. Maryland (91) and Washington (26) supply all 117 tests, spread over four years: 2018 (7), 2019 (20), 2022 (14) and 2023 (76); 65.0% of them date from 2023. Oregon and Rhode Island results carry no product names and could not be matched.
• One lab dominates. Some labs report higher THC than others, so we publish medians and middle ranges rather than maxima, but here a single Maryland lab supplied 76.1% of the tests (6 labs in total), so its habits shape the whole distribution.
• No terpene profile. None of the 117 tests reports individual terpene values; 89 Maryland tests report only a total terpene figure (median 1.70% by weight), and Washington labs report none. We therefore show no top terpenes anywhere on this site.
• We matched names strictly: 174 results under near-miss names are excluded and counted, 161 of them the CBD product line “19 LAMBSBREAD (CBD)”; 32 results whose strain field and product name disagreed and 38 Washington flower results with only a generic product name were left out, and 4 duplicate certificates were removed.
