Two strains named after people, one of them documented

Jack Herer carries the name of the author of The Emperor Wears No Clothes, given by its breeder.1 Lamb’s Bread may or may not carry a person’s name: Florida smuggler Steve Lamb’s memoir, as quoted by breeder James Riddle, claims Jamaican farmers named the strain after him, a claim we could not check against the book and that coverage of Lamb does not repeat.7,8
